Scott Steiner vs. Goldberg (No DQ), from WCW Fall Brawl 2000

This match is a miracle. The most anyone could expect out of these two would be a slugfest with fisticuffs replaced by ridiculous slams (and that’s largely what you get), but they manage to sneak in some good character work as well, with Steiner being so afraid of Goldberg that he’s willing to work the arm(!) in order to weaken his opponent. This was the last great singles match for both men, and because this is WCW, it “needed” to fit in Steiner’s fitness buddy and Vince Russo, but for once, the overbooking worked well in service of the spectacle.
