Pillion (unrated version watched for review)

I suppose I’m the crazy one for liking the ending; without getting into spoilers, I felt the subtext was so boldly outlined as to be text. Then again, I’m also not as hot as most are on this, though that might be because I was expecting this to be more of a comedy than a drama, which is not this film’s vibe. Regardless, I thought the leads had plenty of chemistry, the writing was surprisingly under-the-top (refreshing for a rom-com), and the cinematography was frequently outstanding, so this is an easy recommendation for most audiences. These hundred minutes fly by.
