Pig (2021 film)

More of a contemplative drama than the advertising would have you believe, Pig sees Cage shut his yap for much of the film and allows his mannerisms and, you know, acting to do the heavy lifting for the dramatic stakes. It’s a little up its keister every once in a while but it is mostly successful at what it sets out to do, telling of all that’s happened for this man to get into this position and what he might do to stay here and doing all of it rather seamlessly, impressive given its brief runtime. Inarguably deserves more love.
