The Odyssey (2026 film)

There’s going to be a Nolan film made after 2006 that won’t have me spending the first twenty minutes wondering if the unconventional narrative style is going to drive me up a wall. (It would help if the answer was always “no”.) Fortunately, it was easy to get on board with this marriage of high-stakes interpersonal drama and Marvel-style ludicrous spectacle, and the overall message of “humanity is just going to keep shitting in its own face to please the people in power” is subtle enough to not offend that one uncle of yours. Second-best film of 2026 with sheep.
