Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Scattered between the countless scenes where the protagonist looks digitally painted in (including during conversation scenes), yet another A-plot following an antagonist who waits for everyone else to figure out their tragic backstory before showing any sympathetic qualities, and licensed music choices laid out incredibly poorly (why would you play the song explicitly about puberty before any of the sequences where Spider-Man experiences his second puberty?), are well-paced and well-acted sequences that give glimpses of the alternate universe where Cretton kept making outstanding, character-focused dramas. Given recent trends toward multiverse integration, that would be the most welcome crossover of all.
