Ludwig (2024 BBC Series)

This was charming. Not perfect, not a rollercoaster of emotion, and not as unpredictable as an episode of Murder, She Wrote (yes, I know plenty of MWS episodes are predictable; that’s my point), but Mitchell bumbling his way to the solution, stepping over social cues and stammering when he’s supposed to be delivering a climactic soliloquy, doesn’t get old over the course of these six episodes, and each mystery is sufficiently foreshadowed in a way a viewer could play along with, which used to be standard but then the BBC’s Sherlock happened. Probably’ll get Britbox when series two fully airs.
