Invincible (You Wanted a Real Costume, Right?)

Credit where it’s due to the humor throughout this episode. From the opening montage satirizing hysterically transparent attempts at tugging the heartstrings in media without doing the legwork to earn such moments to the brutal dispatching of the villains of the week, I was laughing from start to finish. It remains impossible to take this seriously, though, which is a problem because I think Invincible thinks it is nailing it. When the purple boy has to be told killing people is wrong, I laugh; I think this show wants me to respectfully snap my fingers and drink some bad coffee.
