Dino Crisis (GOG version played for review)

This game was dumb and I didn’t like it. I only bought it because I thought I would “need the context” to understand Dino Crisis 2, which I’ve been meaning to play for over twenty years, and because it was cheap and I regret it as that five bucks could’ve gone to French fries or something. It peaks early with a genuinely inspired jumpscare of the t-rex doing t-rex shit, and the rest is mediocre survival horror, not worst of breed but also not bad enough to loop into being interesting. Perhaps a technical marvel for its time, long ago.
