In terms of being a viable emulator compared to other tools that have been available for far longer, 3dSen has a long way to go. Fast-forward and rewind buttons are absent, and while it can seemingly run any NES or Famicom title, using it for anything besides explicitly supported titles is a hassle. That said, the best results I’ve seen argue it isn’t too far off from fulfilling its promise of letting you see old games in a new light. Sophisticated titles like “Ninja Gaiden III” and “Shatterhand” feel more alive through 3dSen than ever before. My kind of oddity.
