Twilight: New Moon
"I have never seen anyone more prone to life-threatening idiocy." -Alice Cullen to Bella, from the best scene in New Moon
Twilight (the film) was bad but not unsalvageable. It isn't hard to conceive an improved sequel, more thoughtful, more interesting, better. New Moon, unfortunately, is a tire fire of epic proportions. Allusions are made to Romeo and Juliet, but a more apropos comparison is with Madame Butterfly if it were written by someone who had been kicked in the head by a horse. The acting isn't terrible and the effects are cool; that's all I've got for compliments.
