Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate (Switch 2 version; King’s Gambit DLC completed for review)
The new character is a bust. The idea of a tanky, slow character with exceptional damage output is appealing, but Slash’s raw output scales poorly, especially with how Splintered Fate distributes damage over elements, so Michaelangelo with just any two buffs in Ooze will have higher DPS than Slash after the Leatherhead fight. The addition of a final boss is cool; the extra difficulty in the lab aren’t, as it’s just fake difficulty that offers little satisfaction to beat. Overall, more Splintered Fate is a good thing, and here’s hoping The Last Ronin is in the same ballpark of quality.
