Sorcerer (1977 film)

A thousand words would be a good start; a hundred words is comically insufficient. I’ll single out the two best aspects of Sorcerer to me. First: it is confident its audience will understand its exposition. This might have been a generous calculation some fifty years ago, but audiences have caught up and I suspect even the inattentive will pick up on what used to be subliminal in these tableaus. Second: its ability to convey flawless exposition in the first place. Sorcerer demands respect because it is worth respecting and has no qualms about reminding you of that with every frame.
