Slums of Beverly Hills
I'm not the first to suggest it, but it is hard to shake that "Slums" would've been better as a television show. Its characters don't have much room to breathe and grow here in spite of that being the whole point of this character-centric story, and the A-plot that comes full circle to conclude the story feels like the B-plot given how little screentime it gets. "Slums of Beverly Hills" get by, then, on its wonderful cast and infectious nature, somehow making a game of catch between Marisa Tomei and Natasha Lyonne involving a dildo NOT the oddest scene here.
