Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas

I don’t usually respond well to holiday tie-in specials, especially ones transparently targeted to children who see little appreciable difference in craft between this and, I don’t know, a “Cars 2” Let’s Play video. This, however, was a lot of fun, economically conveying a wide cast of characters and their conflict while also leaving room for effective slapstick, all without any pesky dialogue to bring it down in under half an hour. It’s hardly essential, but so long as you don’t go in expecting something approaching the inspired zaniness of “The Wrong Trousers”, you’ll have a good time with this.
