Ring of Honor Live In Tokyo

Three great matches and a different visual aesthetic from most ROH shows elevate what is otherwise an ordinary show. The first half isn’t great—who CAN get hyped about Rave vs. Whitmer or Kotaru Suzuki teaming up with Jack Evans?—but it is smooth sailing once Danielson vs. Shiozaki comes on, and Morishima and McGuinness deliver a pretty good outing save one botch that was dumb in theory. Far from the best that ROH would deliver in 2007, but if we’re ranking inessential shows that advance no story and have no classics, this might have been their best from 2007.
