The highs outweigh the lows, though the lows are considerable. The parts where you’re fighting through dungeons, battling fierce bosses, and watching cutscenes that poke fun at the pathetic manbaby you’re playing as (except the #1 ranked fight; that’s like pulling teeth) are all aces. Grinding for money, which is necessary to get to those dungeons, is not fun, and while they do a great job of emphasizing how pathetic Travis Touchdown is, the optimal grind to the final dungeon plus upgrades needed to stand a chance took over an hour. Easy recommendation, though know what you’re getting in for.
