Gato Roboto (Switch version)

It’s cute, it’s funny, it’s cheap ($8; it frequently goes on sale for a cup of coffee), and it’s over before it has a chance to get old. These shouldn’t be unique qualities for comedy games, but with dreck like A Short Hike and Donut County stinking up digital storefronts, it’s nice to know that some developers know what they’re doing. I got almost every collectible on my playthrough, missing just one health pick-up, and it still clocked in at under two-and-a-half hours, a perfect runtime for what this game is going for. Just don’t go in expecting something extraordinary.
