Antichrist (2009 film)
The prologue is fantastic by all measures, and some of the intense imagery had me wincing, impressive given how much (too much?) horror I have consumed. That said, most of Antichrist is the unnamed couple talking about their issues and going about their doomed therapy sessions, lazily allegorical with Christianity or something in ways that I never found insightful or interesting. Everyone likes to clown on the fox that eats itself, but the absurdity of the bit at least makes it unique, unlike the graphic sex scenes, rendered paradoxically boring due to their frequency. I got little out of this.
